Christopher Elbow Unveils New Collection of Chocolates, Focused on Healthy Living

Mother’s Day collection launches partnership with non-profit, Back in the Swing®

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE from Christopher Elbow Artisanal Chocolates

KANSAS CITY, MO– Chocolates rich in antioxidants and other heart-healthy qualities are the theme for Christopher Elbow’ newest collection of bon-bons, the Back in the Swing collection. On sale for Mother’s Day, this 21-piece set marks a new partnership with Back in the Swing, the national non-profit, headquartered in Kansas City, that promotes breast cancer survivorship through healthy living, and by encouraging patients to access post-treatment programs and clinical care.

Elbow’s Back in the Swing Collection is a nod to the non-profit’ healthy living directive. It features chocolates composed of those wonderful ingredients known to help the heart and promote better health within the body. Blueberries, a fruit rich in antioxidants, are the featured player in a blueberry pate de fruit with blueberry ganache bon-bon. Ginger, known for its positive effects on the digestive system, is the key ingredient in the new ginger caramel bon-bon. And green tea, a natural panacea, is the focus of another new bon-bon, which, like the others, Christopher developed specifically for this collection.

Beginning in mid-April, this new box will be available at Christopher Elbow retail locations in Kansas City and San Francisco, as well as online at www.ElbowChocolates.com. Christopher Elbow Artisanal Chocolates will donate five dollars from the sale of every Back in the Swing Collection to the non-profit, where the money will be used to support their mission.
