HOW DOES RETAIL THERAPY HELP ME GET BACK IN THE SWING?
Retail Therapy is an exercise for the mind, body and spirit! A memorable story in The New York Times first inspired the event in 2003. Titled "The News was Bad… I Went to Bendel’s"(PDF), columnist Ellen Tien poignantly illustrated the healthy, proactive and joyful benefits of shopping; “Shopping offers possibility, a forward stretch into seasons to come. … If I don’t find anything good on one floor, there is always another… More than an agent acquisition, shopping can be an act of hope. In shopping, as in all else, where there’s hope, there’s life.” |
